You need to read this book now!

After two months of not posting anything, going through a mini slump,I felt I was missing something. I kept on picking books ,finished them ,even gave a few of them 4 out of 5 stars but could not find a book that was "it"..Then I stumbled upon booktube and found people raving about this book..After a succession of average reads,i really did not keep my hopes super high.I ordered the book and with the continuing lockdown , the book arrived a little late..I had just finished Fangirl before that and it did not keep up to my expectations with the hype surrounding it..A few hours after ,I started reading the book and there it was,my book slump vanished within a minute .I devoured the book in 8 hours and even the rain, the storm, the power cut could not keep me off from finishing it.Yes ,I finished the last few chapters with the help of my cellphones flashlight.By now ,I guess you can understand how much I have fallen in LOVE with this book and I cannot stop gushing about it. And that book is * drumrolls * Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin.

The story follows our protagonist Yael and she is a skinshifter and survivor of a deathcamp during WorldWar II. What's more is that the novel is an alternate historical fiction where The Axis powers have won and Hitler is still out there celebrating his victory..To commemorate the win, a bike race is held every year spanning continents. The winner of the race gets to have a meet and greet with Hitler. Yael is a subject of an experimentation and thus a skinshifter. She participates in the race assuming the last year's victor's face Adele Woolfe who got to dance with Hitler.Theres only one mission for Yael now.

Win the race. Kill Hitler.

Can there be any better premise than that!!!!!! This book has turned out to be one of my all time favourites .With the impeccable writing style keeping you on the edge every second, with exceptional twists and turns ,great characters there's not a single thing that is flawed.Ryan Graudin has taken great care to mention every detail without making it feel unnecessarily stretched. The story unfolds beautifully with the reader being informed from the very first about the mission. The other main characters ,Felix Woolfe and Luke lowa ,make the story more worthwhile. And the ending. That ending!!! I cannot just recommend the book enough. This book has to be one of my best reads so far and everyone needs to read it.Dont wait .Go and Read it.Now.

Goodreads rating - 4.26/5

My rating-10/10

It's great to read your blog after so long. Now please keep up with this as there are people like me who start reading now based on your recommendations.

And regarding this one, a story based on the times during WWII ..Ahhh this is all I need now to continue... ..because I just finished reading ENIGMA: CRACK THE CODE by Dr. Gareth Moore, a story about a cryptoanalyst trying to break the German code . Thanks for this suggestion though.
